On Friday, 20th March 2009, Sunsmile Kids PIK had its first field trip to Sea World Indonesia. Students, parents, and teachers were gathering together and having so much fun !!

STORY TELLING COMPETITION
Story telling competition Sunsmile kids PIK held story telling competition among Jakarta-based Sunsmile Kids on thursday, 19th March 2009. The participants were coming from Sunsmile Kids Sunter, Lippo Karawaci, Citra Garden, and Gading Serpong. Some parents were also coming to support the children. Each school sent 3 candidates. The judges for the competition were the principals from each Sunsmile Kids school mentioned above as well as principal of Sunsmile Kids PIK. Ms Dorothy Tay, advisor of Sunsmile Kids was also attending the competition. As per Ms. Christine, principal of Sunsmile Kids PIK, the children were evaluated not only on the fluency, but were also evaluated on the clarity of the words, the intonation, the story itself, and the expression. The objective of this competition is to encourage and improve children's public speaking skill.
